About Us
Who We Are and Why We Are Different
Optimal Spine and Body was created from Dr. Michael Weiner’s vision to provide advanced, research-based chiropractic care and help people work toward optimal health through a more individualized approach.
Where Optimal Spine and Body Began
Our Mission & Purpose
Our mission is to raise the standard of healthcare and chiropractic care specifically by delivering individualized care to each person and their family. Every person is different. Every spine is different. We believe every treatment should be different, too.
The name Optimal Spine and Body came about while Dr. Mike Weiner was studying Kinesiology – Movement Science at Pennsylvania State University. For a group project, he had to come up with a name for a business that promoted health. At that point, he determined that he wanted to dedicate his life to creating an office that would allow people to attain optimal health through advanced, research-based chiropractic care—thus the name Optimal Spine and Body.
His vision has now become a reality, serving Alpharetta, Roswell, Cumming, Avalon, Milton, and surrounding communities in Georgia.
from personal experience to life's purpose
Meet Dr. Michael Weiner
A herniated disc may have been one of the best things that happened to Dr. Weiner. It all started when he was 10 years old and was diagnosed with a herniated disc in his lumbar spine after an injury sliding into the catcher while playing baseball. He was bedridden for three months and remembers feeling trapped in his own body with extreme pain in his lower back, legs, and feet.
His father was a chiropractor and was able to help him recover without surgery or medication. Through that experience, Dr. Weiner learned both what it is like to suffer and what it is like to take control of his health and life. It became his mission and purpose to become a chiropractor and help people who may be feeling the same way he once felt.
He never let the injury define who he was and continues to stay active and healthy today.

He is happily married with two sons, a daughter, and two dogs—a black lab mix and a terrier mix. A resident of Johns Creek, Dr. Weiner absolutely loves the greater Atlanta area and is proud to serve patients and families throughout the surrounding communities.

Meet Corey
After suffering from a herniated disc at his previous workplace, Corey struggled to recover his health from terrible low back pain and sciatica. Having spent many years in the film and fitness industries, being injured took a heavy toll on Corey whereas he was left with only 3 options: physical therapy, injections, or surgery. With a newborn son having arrived that he could not even pick up from his crib, Corey and his wife Jennifer knew something had to be done. An answer to prayer from his church family led him to Optimal Spine and Body where he met Dr. Mike.
Since then, Corey continues to be treated by Dr. Mike with the only method that helped correct his symptoms at the root cause: chiropractic biophysics. Forever grateful, Corey now enjoys helping other patients in the office to live symptom-free and thrive in their health. You will find him at Optimal Spine and Body creating the atmosphere to make each patient feel welcome, messaging and answering calls, providing office walkthroughs to new patients, sharing social media posts, and assisting patients in and out of traction. Corey is also in charge of the patient-favorite Optimal Spine and Body music playlist with requests opened to each patient. Ask him about the theme of the week!
